Since obtaining that consent we have been approached by the University of London (UoL) who have expressed interest in using the southern block of our development as student housing. In response we have submitted a new planning application for this change of use (planning application 20/AP/1329)
While the southern block will now contain 250 student rooms the mass but the bulk of the development will be virtually identical and follow the approved footprint of the scheme. The northern block will contain 58 affordable homes, a 26% increase from the 46 proposed in the original scheme while the commercial space will remain unchanged.
